Lützau / Feb '08 / Rendl Spitze : So we had some interesting off-piste skiing ahead of us today. Strenous hike up to Rendl Spitze (Ridge), I more or less had to break the trail, as the old track had covered up with snow, then skiing down in Malfon Tal over Mitterkar long traverse out and down into Pettneu from here Taxi back to St. Anton.

Lützau / Feb '08 / Maroi Spitze : Jose and Kristian hiking up to Maroi Spitze to ski the chute down to Vordere Kaltenberg and on over to Leiten into Maroi Tal. This is a great off-piste run and we're out in the true backcountry terrain of the Arlberg.

Lützau / Feb '08 / Albona & Langen : Having a nice off-piste day, first skiing down from Albona (Arlberg) to Langen over the Kaltenberg Hut, then walking up to Maroi Kopf to ski down into Maroi Tal over Lange Leiten and where we got some nice freeriding in some beautiful powder snow.

Lützau / Feb '08 / Verborgenes Kar to Kaisers : Together with Peter we hiked up into Verborgenes Kar to get some nice skiing down into Almjur Tal. We had some decent powder snow here, even long time after the last snow fall. Ending up in Kaisers and still faraway from home, so taxi to Warth where we had lunch, back up in the Warth ski system, from here a long traverse and ski back into Lech and another taxi back to St. Anton. This is one of the big off-piste runs around St. Anton.

Henrik & Kristian / Feb '08 / Valluga West and Peischl Chute : I took Henrik (telemark) and Kristian for a bit of a steep freeride session in the backcountry area of the Arlberg - as you can see awesome powder snow. Especially the chute down from Peischl Kopf, this off-piste run (50-55 degree) is one of the steepest around St. Anton.

Lützau / Dec '07 / St. Anton & Sonnenkopf : These off-piste ski photos are from the beginning of the ski season 2007/2008, we had plenty of snow already and the weather gave us beautiful sunshine. So some very good ski conditions in the Arlberg's backcountry terrain.
